Enterprises located in settlements where there are no banks or postal operators must hand over excess cash to be credited to the company’s accounts in the bank no later than the next business day, regardless of the deadline for delivery of available revenue (cash).

For exceeding the set cash limit, according to Art. 1 of Decree No. 436, the company is subject to sanctions in the form of a fine of twice the amount of detected over-limit cash for each day.

Regulation No. 637 establishes a certain restriction in terms of cash settlements of the enterprise with other enterprises and entrepreneurs during the day. Thus, the amount of cash payment of one enterprise to another enterprise (individual entrepreneur) within one day alone or by several payment orders may not exceed the maximum amount set by a separate provision of the NBU. To date, this amount is set at 10 thousand UAH.

Payments in excess of the amount set by the NBU should be made only in cash. That is, the company can not pay from the box office during the day to the same business entity the amount of cash more established. Even this amount was issued in several receptions. At the same time, such a ban does not mean that the amount set by the NBU is the entire amount that the cashier has the right to issue in cash during the day. The ban only applies to settlements with one SPD. Thus, during the day the company has the right to make cash payments to several companies (entrepreneurs) in compliance with each of them set restrictions.

For violation of the restrictions on payments, the company faces a fine of twice the amount of detected over-limit cash for each day, according to paragraph 1 of Decree No. 436. In this case, the amount that exceeds the estimated limit is added to the actual cash balances in the cashier of the enterprise-buyer at the end of the day once on the day of the transaction, and the result is compared with the set cash limit …

In addition, for the implementation of cash settlements in excess of the limit set by the NBU on the head of the enterprise may be imposed an administrative fine for violation of the rules of cash transactions in accordance with Art. 164 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses in the amount of 8 to 15 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (170 UAH -340 UAH).

Liability for violation of the established limit on cash payments affects only the company that issues cash from the box office. Upon receipt of funds, liability for exceeding the limit set by the NBU does not apply.

In addition, this restriction does not apply to:

settlements with individuals, business entities that are not; settlements with budgets and state target foundations; voluntary donations; charitable assistance; calculations of enterprises for the electricity consumed by them; use of funds issued for business trips; buy best compare and contrast essay online settlements of enterprises among themselves and with individual entrepreneurs when purchasing agricultural products.

Receipt of funds at the box office. Cash received at the cash desk of the enterprise must be timely and in full posted to the cashier of the enterprise. Therefore, in order for cash to be considered accountable, any receipt of cash at the box office: revenue, non-operating income, cash from the bank is made out by a profitable cash order (f. No. KO-1). For those enterprises that work with the use of RRO or RK – enterprises of trade, catering and services, cash posting is the registration through RRO (or fixation in RK) of operations to receive money from the buyer (with the issuance of a settlement document ) and their daily display in full in the Book of accounting of settlement operations (KURO).

Having issued the receipt of cash proceeds with a profitable cash order, you must also make a profitable entry in the cash book. It is not necessary to make an entry in the cash book immediately after issuing a profit order. It is permissible to make an entry in the cash book during the working day of the cashier, but always on the day of receipt of funds.

When filling out a cash order, it is very important that all the details are filled in it.

In the profit orders issued for the total amount of cash transactions carried out by the enterprise (receipt of cash from the bank by check and posting them at the box office, etc.), the requisites “Received” is not filled.

In the income order the basis for its drawing up is obligatory specified (see tab. 3), and in requisites “Appendix” the documents attached to it on which the stamp or the inscription “Paid” with indication of date (date, month, year) is put are listed. …

Profitable cash orders must be signed by the chief accountant or a person authorized by the head of the enterprise.

Corrections in income documents are not allowed.

The profitable cash order must be filled in one copy. The person who hands over the money to the cashier is issued a receipt certified by the imprint of the seal of this enterprise (is a detachable part of the profitable cash order) signed by the chief accountant or employee of the enterprise authorized by the head. The income cash order on which the cash is received remains in the cash desk, is registered in the Journal of registration of income and expense cash documents (f. О KO-z or No. KO-za).

Cash withdrawal. Cash withdrawal from the cash register is carried out on the basis of expendable cash orders (standard form No. KO-2) or appropriately executed settlement and payment information, signed by the head and chief accountant of the enterprise or an employee of the enterprise authorized by the head.

Documents (applications for cash withdrawals, invoices, reports on the use of funds, calculations, etc.) may be attached to expenditure orders.

If the documents, applications, invoices, etc. attached to the expenditure cash orders contain a permit inscription of the head of the enterprise, then his signature on the expenditure cash orders is not obligatory.

Issuance of cash to individuals (both employees and non-employees of the enterprise) on the expenditure cash order or expenditure statement is carried out only upon presentation of a passport or a document that replaces it. In this case, the expenditure order must contain its name, number, by whom and when it was issued.

An individual signs a cash disbursement order or a statement of receipt of cash indicating the amount received (hryvnia – in words, kopecks – in numbers), using an ink or ballpoint pen with dark ink. If the expense statement is drawn up for the issuance of cash to several persons, the recipients also present passports or replacement documents and sign in the appropriate column of the document.

Expenditure cash orders or expenditure statements in which the issuance of cash from the cash register is not confirmed by the recipient’s signature are not accepted to withdraw the cash balance at the cash desk.

Persons who are not in the staffing schedule of the enterprise are available issued on the basis of cash disbursement orders issued separately for each person or on the basis of a separate statement of expenditure.

In the expense orders issued for the total amount of cash transactions carried out by the enterprise (issuance of cash on expense statements, delivery of cash to the bank), the requisites “Received” is not filled.

The cashier issues cash only to the person specified in the expenditure document. Exceptions are cases where cash is issued on behalf of.

If the cash is issued on behalf of, in the text of the expenditure order after the name, first name and patronymic of the recipient of cash, the accountant indicates the last name, first name and patronymic of the person entrusted to receive cash. In the case of issuing cash on the expense statement before the signature in the receipt of money, the cashier makes an inscription “On behalf of”.

The power of attorney remains with the cashier and is attached to the expenditure cash order or expenditure statement.

Expenditure documents immediately after the issuance of cash on them is signed by the cashier, and on the documents attached to them puts a stamp or the inscription “Paid” indicating the date (date, month, year).

The expenditure order must indicate the documents that are the basis for its preparation (see table. 4), and the details of the “Appendix” list the documents attached to it.

Issuance of cash on the expenditure cash order can be made only on the day of the document. Corrections in expense documents are not allowed.

The company can issue funds from the box office to its employees from funds received from the bank or from revenue.
